ESM Programs


ESM provides a collaborative Christian response to low income and homeless people in crisis through a variety of services:
  • Direct Services: clothing, prescription medications, personal hygiene items and transportation

  • Housing (Rental) Program: partial rent assistance
    As of October 16, 2014, ESM has expended all available rental assistance funds for the month of October. We will not be able to provide rental assistance until November 3, 2014.

  • Utilities Program: partial utility assistance

  • Jobs Program: job skills assessment, resume assistance, referrals, classes, tools, uniforms, home health care certification classes

  • Food Pantry: emergency food, commodities and holiday food baskets

  • Mental Health Services: on-site behavioral health counseling and referrals

Department Hours: 

Direct Services & Pantry:
Monday through Friday
9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. 
Clients should be here at least 1/2 hour prior to closing time to ensure enough time to meet with a counselor.

Commodities
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday only
9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. / 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

ESM follows School District 11 for weather-related closures and delays.

In response to the Gospel, ESM promotes self-sufficiency and restores dignity by providing food, medicine, housing, job placement, educational programs, and spiritual encouragement.
