Mental Health Many ESM clients suffer from behavioral health issues ranging from depression and anxiety to more serious conditions such as bipolar disorder or schizophrenia. Responding to this need, ESM partnered with Pikes Peak Mental Health Systems, Inc. in 2006 to offer on-site mental health counseling. The program is now staffed by an ESM clinician.
The Mental Health Program successfully treated nearly 300 individuals in its second year. A prescribing psychiatrist is also available to provide prescription medications. The addition of this service enhances ESM's ability to provide the most comprehensive level of assistance available in the community.
Eligibility Guidelines Services are available for ESM clients only. Clients must make an appointment with the mental health clinician to receive services. A limited number of walk-in appointments are available.

"I lost my job and was not able to pay my rent. ESM staff and volunteers reassured me that it was OK to ask for help and helped with rental assistance. Thanks to ESM I am back on track again."
