Jobs Program
The Jobs Program assists unemployed or underemployed individuals with a wide array of services including skills assessment, resume preparation, job referrals, transportation vouchers, tools, uniforms, and computer training classes.

ESM maintains a Jobs Resource Room where clients may search and apply for jobs online and access other community resources for job placement assistance. A separate Computer Training Room allows ESM to conduct basic computer instruction classes. ESM also holds periodic on-site job fairs to connect job seekers with leads and information on local employment opportunities.

Eligibility Guidelines
Clients must make an appointment to receive services, or on a limited walk-in basis. Access to the Jobs Resource Room does not require an appointment. Limitations on number of services per year vary by service type.

"The housing volunteer counselors were very helpful in getting my rent paid. It was a reassuring feeling knowing I was being helped. Thank you!"

-Mary
In response to the Gospel, ESM promotes self-sufficiency and restores dignity by providing food, medicine, housing, job placement, educational programs, and spiritual encouragement.

ESM provides a collaborative Christian response to low income and homeless people in crisis.
