Gifts in Kind Guidelines

Gifts in Kind are donations of items, rather than dollars. ESM gratefully accepts donations of gifts in kind following these guidelines:

Pantry items
Peanut butter, jelly, canned tuna, canned chicken, canned soup, canned fruits, canned vegetables (corn, peas, beans), dry beans, dry milk, pasta, ramen noodles, macaroni & cheese, Hamburger Helper, Tuna Helper, evaporated milk, instant or canned potatoes

Please no expired food items or large containers

Toiletries
Travel-sized soap, travel-sized toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, shaving cream, disposable razors, baby wipes, diapers (all sizes), sanitary napkins and other feminine products, toilet paper.

Large bath towels are also appreciated for our shower facilities.

Clothing
Clean socks, new underwear (men's and ladies'), clean t-shirts, blue jeans (especially sizes 32, 34, 36), sweatshirts, winter coats or jackets, mittens, gloves, hats, scarves, work boots, sneakers, shoes.  

Please make sure clothing is clean, wearable and with no holes or tears.

ESM no longer accepts the following:
Pots, pans, small appliances (such as coffee makers, toasters, or small microwaves), bed linens (clean and useable), dishes, glasses.

ESM does not accept the following:
Computers, monitors, televisions, furniture, mattresses, household appliances such as washers, dryers or refridgerators, cars or books.

In response to the Gospel, ESM promotes self-sufficiency and restores dignity by providing food, medicine, housing, job placement, educational programs, and spiritual encouragement.

ESM provides a collaborative Christian response to low income and homeless people in crisis.
