Colorado Springs Ecumenical Social Ministries (ESM) was established as a nonprofit organization in 1982 by eight large downtown churches. Considered an outreach extension for the community, ESM responds to the emergency social service needs of low-income, homeless and unemployed individuals and families in Colorado Springs.

    ESM will be closed on Friday, July 3rd for the holiday weekend. We will re-open for normal business and client hours on Monday, July 6th.




Give a Suit! Change a Life!

Men's Wearhouse will be collecting gently used men's suits and business clothing from June 22 through July 31. Items collected will be given to ESM for our annual suit giveaway in mid-September.

Tax Help Appointments at ESM

ESM's volunteer tax preparers completed tax returns (federal and state) for almost 2,000 clients between February 1 and April 15!

If you still need help with tax preparation, appointments will be taken every other Monday, starting June 1st and ending in August.

In response to the Gospel, ESM promotes self-sufficiency and restores dignity by providing food, medicine, housing, job placement, educational programs, and spiritual encouragement.

ESM provides a collaborative Christian response to low income and homeless people in crisis.
