Colorado Springs Ecumenical Social Ministries (ESM) was established as a nonprofit organization in 1982 by eight large downtown churches. Considered an outreach extension for the community, ESM responds to the emergency social service needs of low-income, homeless and unemployed individuals and families in Colorado Springs. 


Give a Suit. Change a Life.

ESM sill conduct its annual Men's Suit Giveaway on Saturday, October 11. Suits and men's business clothing will be given away on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning at 9:00 a.m.  Watch for further details here on our website! Suits and other men's wear was donated through the annual National Suit Drive held by Men's Wearhouse in July.


 VITA tax season complete for another year.

August 25 is the last day for tax assistance until the new tax season begins. VITA Volunteers will be available on February 2, 2015 to prepare 2014 personal income taxes.


Empty Stocking Fund Campaign!

We are proud to be part of the Empty Stocking Fund Campaign and look forward to this year's campaign and goal of raising $1Million during the Christmas season!

In response to the Gospel, ESM promotes self-sufficiency and restores dignity by providing food, medicine, housing, job placement, educational programs, and spiritual encouragement.

ESM provides a collaborative Christian response to low income and homeless people in crisis.

ESM will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations prohibiting discrimination.
